Happy Fruit Pie

Are you upset? Depressed? Hungry? Try this happy pie. Seriously. It will make you feel much, much better. Just give it a shot. Processed with VSCOcam with f2 preset


  • 4 apples
  • 5 plums
  • 1 bunch of grapes
  • 250 g  flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 200 g white sugar
  • 170 g butter
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder


  1. Refrigerate egg whites at least 30 minutes.
  2. Mix egg yolks and sugar (100 g).
  3. Cut cold butter up into small pieces. Add it to the mixture.
  4. Mix flour and baking powder into butter mixture to make a dough. Leave 1/3 of the dough in the refrigerator for 35 minutes.
  5. Press the other part of the dough into a pie dish, covered with butter. Flute the edges.
  6. Filling: whip egg whites, add white sugar (100 g), grated apples, sliced plums, grape. Pour the filling into the pie shell.
  7. Grate previously chilled dough. Sprinkle it  over the filling.
  8. Preheat oven to 175 degrees C (350 degrees F).
  9. Bake pie for about 45 minutes.

Let cool on a wire rack at least 1 hour before slicing.
